A universal MuleSoft integration approach for Sibelga

Whether you run a large company or a small team, it’s often challenging to get everyone on the same page when things are about to change. In the case of Sibelga, a company where over 1.200 people have to be aligned, a universal integration approach was required. Dots & Arrows played an important role in…

Dots & Arrows stands for a comprehensive approach to integration, both in terms of getting people aboard and designing future-proof solutions.

A tailored answer to their needs

About Sibelga

Sibelga is the operator of the electricity and natural gas distribution networks for the 19 municipalities in the Brussels-Capital Region, a ‘big player’. Driven by innovation, organisations like this keep growing and fine-tuning their services to improve the lives of all Brussels residents,

The roadmap

The first key steps in the integration process had been taken by another integration partner: a refactoring of the existing solutions and the migration to MuleSoft. The first stage of many more to come.

In an expanding organisation such as Sibelga, a universal integration approach was required. MuleSoft offers the flexibility and scalability to set up a future-proof integration. To get all internal teams on board, they needed people with specific MuleSoft expertise. And that’s where they found Dots & Arrows.

Together you achieve more

The consultants of Dots & Arrows blended in very well. I consider them as a part of the internal team.

Jan Neven, Sibelga

“We worked with i8c (another company within the Cronos Groep) before. We thus already knew the Dots & Arrows company culture and its strenghths. With a strong and hybrid team, consisting of developers, a project manager, an architect and multiple analysts, the scene was set for a successful and structural integration approach.

The consultants of Dots & Arrows had both the technical and the soft skills to set up the integrations and to help the internal teams get familiar with it. Especially when various teams had to work together, and scoping is rather challenging, we needed real commitment and involvement on site.”

The Dots & Arrows touch

Competence and transparency with a touch of humanity. That’s Dots & Arrows.

One of the most important aspects of the fluent collaboration between Sibelga and Dots & Arrows, except for the required MuleSoft expertise, is the mutual trust. “Thanks to complete transparency and honest communication, Dots & Arrows understands our needs. People say ‘good agreements make good friends’, and we couldn’t agree more.”
