Cloud & DevOps Engineer

Your key responsibilities
- As a Senior/Medior Cloud (& DevOps) Engineer you will contribute to state of the art cloud applications that are built with modern technologies.
- As a Senior/Medior DevOps engineer you will help build pipelines that not only build applications but also manage the infrastructure.
- You can anticipate the needs of the business by applying your knowledge practically to new or existing projects.
- Proactively proposing optimisations and making proposals for architecture that support the sustainability of your solution? That’s your way of working.
- Cloud services that offer added value to your project? You make smart use of them.
- You think about topics such as security, scalability, delivery and much more.
- You work closely together in a team with various colleagues from development and business.
- As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer you actively share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues within the team, and you know how to benefit from this knowledge exchange. Together we grow!
Your skills & personality
Required skills
- You have practical experience with at least 1 of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
- You’re experienced within a Linux environment.
- Scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Javascript, Go…? You speak them fluently!
- You are familiar with automation tools (preferably Ansible).
- You have experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- CI/CD and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab pipelines, BitBucket pipelines, ArgoCD, …) are not new for you.
- You have practical experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
- You have knowledge of networking and security.
- As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you have experience with monitoring/observability solutions.
- You’re familiar with Git.
- Agile working with the familiar tools (Jira, Confluence)? You’re a supporter!
- You have basic knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL).
Preferred skills
- You obtained one or more Cloud certificates and/or CKA/CKD certificates.
- You’re experienced with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Windows Server experience? Yes, please!
